The Model 2 Energy Cage is actually a modification
of the model 5A Imperial Kree Confinement Unit. The Kree
unit
was used primarily for holding prisoners stationary in
a court of Kree law, and for executing them when
sentence was passed. Since the prisoners were already
weakened the confinement unit required little
power. The unit is 3 feet in diameter and stands 4 feet off
of the ground.
The Model 2 was developed for a customer (named
withheld by request, bail hearing pending) who grew tired of
a heroine named
American Dream constantly working her way out of
ropes, chains, locked rooms and other traps. He wanted a
portable
cage that would be near impossible for her to escape
from. After acquiring a shipment of Kree confinement
units I re-did the power systems and the force field
generators as well as adding a few extra features.
After placing the captive in the center of the platform use the remote control to turn on the energy bars. Rings of energy for the wrist and ankles will engage automaticaly. The default settings are listed bellow.
The Model 2 Energy Cage is easily used to both hold
and torment a captive. All operations are directed by the
slider bars on the remote control. The platform can be
temperature controled from -200 degrees to +500
degrees. It can also be set to simulate any surface
from smooth metal to concrete or even a surface of
small spikes.
The Bars are energy fields capable of withstanding
shocks up to 5000 Newtons of directed energy or impact.
They can be set anywhere from a thickness of 1 inch to
4 inches. The temperature given off by the bars can
be from -200 degrees to + 6000 degrees fahrenheit.
The height of the cage itself can reach up to 50 feet
and the force field at the top prohibits escape in
that direction. The wrist and ankle restraints are energy
rings that can be set to any position but will not actually
pull the captives arms and legs off. They can however be
set to painfull extremes.
The lock located under the status light on the base is in
reality a fake lock. It can not unlock the cage, but will
react as a real lock to all attempts to pick it. In reality
all operations for the cage are directed by the remote
control. If actually picked the base will play a short
recorded message. The default message is a half hour of
Smurfette singing the Smurf theme song.
Currently design work is underway for the Model 3 for shape shifting captives and the Model 4 for captives with Temporal shift capabilities.
The Model 2 is available for weekly or montly rental for a standard price of 1,000,00 dollars per day or 10,000,00 per month. A security deposit of 1000,00 dollars is required. An insurance plan is available for 5,000,00 dollars per rental time. Please note that the unit must be returned in the same condition as when it was rented. Any damage will mean a loss of the insurance and security deposite. Also note the unit is not self cleaning and if returned stained in anyway a cleaning charge will be added to the bill total. If the unit is returned with a captive still held inside of it the rentee must sign a release form stating that they are through torturing the captive and no longer care what happens to said captive.
