| If you remember the old steel bridge spanning the tracks and creek on Colorado Avenue this fence probably looks familiar. The residents, on North Logan, built their front fence from salvaged steel from the old Colorado Avenue Bridge. Look familiar????? |

| If' you've ever wondered WHERE that fragrance of orange magnolias was coming from on East Platte, here's your answer. Lee Nichols, AKA "Mr. Magnolia" has made it his personal mission to prove that Southern magnolias can grow, well, just about anywhere..........even on busy East Platte Avenue!! |
| Mr. Nichols, a native of Puerto Rico has lots of information about the history and cultivation of Magnolia Trees. (see www. orangemagnolia.com) He recently convinced the City to accept magnolias as an acceptable city planting! He's available for tech info if you should want to plant a MAGNOLIA. Even though it's currently APRIl, the blossoms on his magnoia trees are fragrant and welcome the casual visitor from Platte. |
