On extensive testing, the Mustang's handling was found to be much more stable than the Camaro, which had very sloppy handling, and was easier to spin out.

Both cars are suited to fast tracks with few sharp turns, and lots of wide open track, like the Super Speedway, or even Tahiti Road. Both will need extensive tuning to fix wheelspin if you want to take them to the tracks with many sharp turns, such as Laguna Seca, Rome Circuit, and especially Seattle Circuit.

These two are very close in almost everything, never being much more than a half second apart, no matter what the track.
