Discussed:
Meeting Times (debated heavily):
o Previous meeting times: board—first and third Thursdays after school in the library; club—second and fourth Wednesdays @ lunch in Room 141. Rejected.
o Interclub Meetings: conflicts between MESA, National Honor Society, Science Club, Community of Caring, Service Scholar, all after school activities (Ultimate Frisbee, annual musical, cross country and track). Debated by all members. Amended.
o Board – second and fourth Mondays @ lunch in Room 141; offered by Ms. Zhang, slightly amended by all others. Passed.
o Club – first and third Mondays @ lunch in Room 141; offered by Ms. Zhang, slightly amended by all others. Passed.
NEXT MEETING: SEPTEMBER 18TH, 2006
o “Opening social”—letters to the faculty and administration. Food may or may not be provided by the board. Duties listed below.
FALL CONFERENCE RALLY: SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2006
o Training conference at Lagoon from noon to two (2) PM. All officers are heavily encouraged to attend. Cost is $27.00 for training and entry passes; acquire tickets and/or more information from Steven Nevers.
Interclub Activities:
o Talk to National Honor Society, Community of Caring to host socials, interclub service activities.
Reminders for Members
o Officers need to set up a club blog; Jasdeep Gill will send reminder emails before each meeting or activity.
Service Board Suggestions

o Adopt-A-Highway for trash picking.
Need-to-Do’s
o Advertise September 18th, 2006 meeting.
o Rearrange Key Club display box; get keys from Mr. Moyle and clean up the display before Friday—officers will situate themselves near (or in) the box to “spread the word.”
Lack of Disclosure: EAGLE FEST
Duties:
President: Contact Publicity about advertising September 18th, 2006.
Secretary: Organize club files; write up monthly report; provide a club member directory.
Treasurer: Recruit members to September 18th, 2006 club meeting;
Publicity: Advertise with treasurer (flyers, posters, announcements) for September 18th, 2006 club meeting.
Service: Contact Food Bank for after club meeting; make a list of all future service opportunities and possibilities.
