Adept- an induvidual who is consicered highly prifcient in a particular magickal system

Akashic records- spiritual records on ifo such as past lives, healing and practices accessed through Universal connections

Altar- special, flat surface used exclusively for magickal workings or religious acknowledgement

Amulet- and object of protection charged to deflect negative energies or thought forms

Ankh- Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol for life, love and reincarnation

Arcana- 2 halves of a tarot deck; major= 22 cards, minor= 56 cards

Astral- another demension of reality, dreamtime

Astral travel/projection- separating astral body from physical to travel in astral plane or dreamtime

Athame-  cleaned and consecrated ceremonial double-edged knife with a black handle

Balefire-  celebration fire used on Beltane, Midsummer, Lughnasadh, and Mabon

Bane- bad, evil, destructive

Banish- magically end or exorcise unwanted entities

Bi-location- mind travel, astral projection while retaining awareness of present surroundings

Bind- magically restrain something or someone

Blood of the Moon- womans menustral cycle

Book of Shadows- information a witch keeps for reference

Bolline- curved, white handled knife use for practical magickal purposes such as cutting

Burning Times- time when witches were burned at the stake
