After marrying June 4, 1994, Robert, Amanda, and Alex found out they were expecting another child. Austin was born April 13, 1995. The family of four moved with their jobs to Utah. Two weeks after moving, they found out they were expecting once again. Skye Marie joined the Turpin clan on June 11, 1997. Soon after Skye's birth, the family moved back to Indiana. While living and working in Indiana, the family found roots in Lafayette, where they lived for five years. In 2003, Robert, Amanda, Austin, and Skye moved to Tampa, Florida, while Alex stayed in Indiana to be with his mom. But, Tampa wasn't "home"... and homeward they went. In July 2004, the Turpin clan finally landed (for good?!?) in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Robert loves to read, play on the computer, and watch the science and history channels. Amanda enjoys reading, staying in touch with her surrogate friends, and participating on parent committees. Both parents are huge supporters of their childrens' activites and enjoy watching the competitions and volunteering.
