Advanced Wicca ~ Magick and Spellwork

February 3rd, March 3rd, and April 7th
This class will focus exclusively on magick and spellwork. We will briefly explore ancient systems of magick before trying our hands at various types of spells. Each class will be focused around several hands-on spell activities and the emphasis will be not only on condusting spells but creating them, as well. The inidvdual needs and interests of the students will direct the spellwork to be performed.
Candle Magick

Simple, yet extremely powerful, candle spells work! The first class will focus on when to use candle magick, candle correspondences, gathering and preparing your magickal tools, and building focus and intent. The second class will strengthen your candle magick with appropriate deities, herbs, oils, and visualizations, while learning to work with the energy of fire! Manifest your wishes and dreams with this profound spellwork technique!

Join us for a fun, interactive class that will expand your understanding of the Easter and Ostara holidays. We will unearth from within the secrets of the Anglo-Saxon Goddess Eostre, whose story has been lost to us through the mists of time. Immersing ourselves in Eostre's childlike energy and enthusiasm, we will play games and have fun in order to bring her presence into our lives. Then, using our new heart-felt, soul-found knowledge, we will create a sacred myth for this Goddess who has none. Children welcomed and encouraged!

Come celebrate the sparkling wonder of the faerie world! We will honor our faery friends with laughter and joy as we celebrate the beauty of winter. By inviting the snowflake sprites, Jack Frost, and the toasty tree dryads into our hearts and our homes, we will transform our lives! Once you've been touched by faerie, your life will never be the same! If you want, come dressed in your finest faery garb and please bring a silver coin (a dime is perfect) to gift to the faeries.

In this introductory class in the ways of faerie, we will learn to discern and draw faerie energy into our lives, bridging the gap between our world and Faeryland. Basic knowledge and skills necessary to work and play with the fey will be explained. With several hands-on activities and the opportunity to create a take-home magickal tool, each participant will leave with the knowledge and confidence to take part to faery rituals, meditations, or games.

Before embarking on our journey to Faeryland, we will discuss the directions, the elementals, and some basic faery values, as well as the meaning of the seven-pointed star and the seven rays of manifestation. Brought to you directly from Faeryland, this easy (yet profound) meditation will help you become more aware of your relationship with the faeries, bringing a bit of fun and ease into your life. Hand-outs will be supplied so you can add this meditation to your daily spirituality.

Focusing on faeries from the Celtic lands and Great Britain, this class will explore the mystical realm of Faerieland, including taboos, time fluctuations, and portals to this reality. Learn about the four Faerie cities of power and the four keepers of knowledge. We will explore a guided meditative technique to access Faerieland and share our experiences there.

Explore the ancient uses and symbolism of these three trees that form the "Gateway to Faerie." Discover for yourself the powers inherent in these trees and and utilize them for your own journeys in Faeryland. We will be using journeying and intuitive techniques to understand the meanings of the trees, as well as their connection to the faeries.
