| *Little Girl* I saw a little girl today She was lively and gay Still blinded by her loving mum Who she says is just like me Still unaware of all the prejudice That is being caused against her She is yet to grow up And discover that her mum is not like me All her liveliness will turn into bitterness Her lovely rounded and chubby face will be a symbol of failure Will she ever stand a chance? Will she escape condemnation? Will she be able to get out of there? She is such a beautiful girl Who has not started living yet Whose life already has a destiny Predestined to gloom and doom By the society, the pejorative one Who only believes in stereotypes And in condemning the innocents.
