Chapter 3

====================

After having such a rude awakening, they all decided to just be on their way. It didn't take long before they reached a village and there their guide stopped.

"We should get fresh supplies" Galen said, including everyone.

Anna shook her head "No, we keep moving"

Timmothy turned to her, rather annoyed at the suggestion to move on. "Whats wrong with this village? Did you kill someone?"

Anna glared at him "Not yet."

It was Galen who interupted them "Just calm down."

He looked at Anna "Anna you can stay here with Celest while we get supplies if you want, but we really need to stop here."

Anna rolled her eyes and sighed. "Fine, just hurry up, I'm not a very patient person."

"That part is obvious"

"Timmothy." Galen warned.

"Okay, okay, lets go." The two boys then rode off towards the village.

When the boys reached the village Galen turned to his friend "So what do you think?"

Timmothy put on a scowl as he dismounted "I think she's a two-faced, no good, double crossing thief."

Galen smiled slightly as he got off his horse, shaking his head as they led the horses to the stable. "I wasn't talking about Anna."

"Who else could you be talking about?"

As the stable hand took their horses Galen turned to his friend. "I was asking what you think will happen once we get to the castle."

Timmothy laughed "Well, I'm sure as soon as we get to the gates the entire kingdom will celebrate with a feast in our honor, We tell the King to release the unicorn and he will let him go immediatly, without a second thought that we might be a threat to his reign."

Galen looked at his friend seriously and smirked "Okay seer, what do you really think?"

"I think that if we arn't thrown in the dungeon immediatly for bringing a thief, he'll certainly have our heads for treason once he hears what we have to say."

"But Anna is a thief, and who better to get past security."

Timmothy stopped walking "Oh, so we're not going to bother his majesty, we're only going to commit a robbery against him, a chicken in a butcher shop has more sense then you do right now Galen."

Galen turned around and smiled "We're about to enter the butcher shop, why not fit in?"

Timmothy rolled his eyes and started walking again "The only thing worse then having to listen to your crazy ideas is listening to your crazy metaphors"

Galen laughed and slapped his friend on the back. "I'm still alive right?"

Timmothy scoffed "Your lucky" they both laughed and continued walking to the market.

Once Timmothy and Galen had left Celest and Anna began to set up camp. The entire chore would have continued in silence if Celest had not spoke up "You certainly have a beautiful horse."

Anna eyed Celest suspiciously, then went back to work "You think a thief like me can't have such a magnificent animal?"

Celest shook her head "It's nothing like that, I just wanted to make conversation."

Anna looked up once again and sighed "Oh, well your right."

Celest looked confused "Right about what?"

"I can't afford him, I stole the horse."

"What makes you think I thought you couldn't afford it?"

Anna laughed "You don't travel much do you?"

"How do you know?"

"Naievity is written all over your face, you try to be sensible but you make the mistake believing everyone can be trusted."

Celest looked shocked "What makes you think they can't?"

Anne smirked at her and sat down on a log "What did you say you were?"

Celest sat down across from her "I'm a wizard."

"For a wizard your not that bright."

Celest looked shocked but Anna just smiled and shook her head. "Look it's nice to trust people, maybe your friends are good people, but sooner or later everyone always lets you down."

"You sound like you believe that Anna."

"Why shouldn't I, it's the truth."

"Maybe you just knew the wrong people."

Anna looked up and smiled slightly "Some people would claim I knew the right people."

"Maybe they are the ones who arn't very bright."

Celest smiled, forcing Anna to do the same. "You seem like someone who always knows what to say."

Celest smiled "Sometimes I do."
