Billions of years ago there existed agreat civilization on the earth called the Nahcarian. Their life spans extending well over a thousand years these were beings who could achieve great power and abilities. They constructed magnificent cities of beauty and energy and it wasn't long before they conquered the stars. They constructed fantastic and complex ships of pure energy they used to reach the planets and sail through the stars and space.  They colonized planets and lived in bliss for millions of years. Soon there rose a new civilization among the Nahcaria, a seperate human species incapable of the power of the Nahcaria, simple species with earth complexions and rounded features. These species were called Lunarians, for they worshipped the moon as a god, seeing nothing beyond it's celestial body. The Nahcarians felt threatened by these new humans for they felt it was the universe trying to exponge them from existence. Convinced of their own superiority the Nahcarians enslaved the Lunarians over millions of years when earth was struck with a cataclysmic event and the Lunarians finally rebelled. Some of the Nahcarians managed to escape while those who stayed behind were promptly executed. The great Nahcarian civilization was over, and the Lunarians dominated the solar system. But the Nahcarians still refused to disapear completly. Over the many years a few of the Nahcarians and Lunarians had interbred, eventually creating a third seperate species called the Astrals.

These Astrals lived shorter lifespans then their Nahcarian cousins, with diminished abilities and features more blended with their Lunarian ancestry.  Over the thousands of years the Nahcarians were forgotten. Forgetting their Nahcarian ancestry the Astrals worshipped the stars, drawing on their energy as well as their own as they pursued their own culture, seperate from the Lunarians and hidden from their civilization.

Eventually development had caused the exposure of the Astrals and their simple communities. The Astrals were finally forced to live with the Lunarians in the same villages and kingdoms. The Astrals had now become the outsiders, excluded from government positions and the majority prevented from an elegant lifestyle. The Astrals were looked upon as different and many were fearful of their power. It took one gifted Astral at last to bring about the rise of her own culture and into grudging acceptance.
