Enter now into a most unusual "Kingdom"...discover how the peasants serve their King. Our King "rules" ...subject to the good will of his serfs...you never know just when there might be an uprising...Have you ever seen a pilot try to lift the basket by himself??? It is not a pretty sight. We were joking around at a rally and ended up beginning to assign roles according to personalities and jobs on the team. Soon this became a real highlight and challenge to name all of the members. Who knows at some rally in the future you may even see us dressed in character...it could happen!

Where else can a person wake up early (on their only days off each week) say around 5:30 AM; and go out to chase a crazy fellow who is riding around in a wicker basket suspended beneath a huge nylon sack filled with heated air! As the dogs bark, the horses run, and small children in the crew beg for potty breaks and eats; you chase your pilot as he tries to land in that large open area (instead of the weed-filled patch that has no access!) What fun...the best enjoyment comes from harassing him on his poor choices of landing sites!...But then Kelly never causes us to get thorns, stickers, insect bites, muddy shoes,or sore muscles from running after him....hey I've had all those!!!!
