SkyCatz holds weekly random doubles tournaments at 5:30 on Tuesdays at Penn Valley and on Wednesdays at Grass Valley. The entry fee is $8 for non-members and $7 for club members. The extra dollar for non-members goes to the club. One dollar goes to the ace pool, which tops out at $200. Seventy five cents goes towards course maintenece. Twenty five cents goes towards the "extra hole". The "extra hole" is designated at each weekly. Everyone gets an extra drive at the hole chosen, and an ace wins the pot, which tops out at $150. Five dollars goes to the payout.
Weekly times change for the season with Daylight Savings Time. After the time change during fall, the weeklies change to Saturdays 10:30 am at Grass Valley and 1:30 pm at Penn Valley. After the time change in the spring, the times are as above. |
