| TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS RESERVES 3-2 COVENTRY CITY Another defeat for Trevor Peake's Sky Blues after they threw away a 2-0 lead against Spurs at Stevenage Borough. After Gary McSheffrey had blasted wide and Sergei Rebrov had a goal disallowed, City took a 28th minute lead when, a free-kick was deflected into the path of Calum Davenport who smashed the ball in from close range with Kasey Keller in the Spurs goal stranded. In the 35th minute, the impressive Gary McSheffrey missed a good opportunity to increase the lead when he beat the offisde trap to fire inches wide Seven minutes into the second period and City did increase their lead when Ysrael Zuniga hit a 25 yard shot destined for the top corner, former Millwall and USA keeper managed to tip the ball on to the bar but it bounced down and into the net. Tim Sherwood pulled one back for the home side in the 58th minute when his shot rebounded back off City keeper Richard Brush and the former Blackburn player,tucked the rebound in from a close angle. Tottenham drew level on 73 minutes. Yannick Kamanan ran through the middle and hit a low shot past Brush. Then, two minutes later, Tim Sherwood got in a headed cross to Sergei Rebrov who let he ball come down and hammered the ball past a helpless Brush.
