| In a statement, Chairman Bryan Richardson said: �On behalf of myself, the manager and all the players and staff at Coventry City FC I would like to thank all our fans for the tremendous support at yesterday�s game against Wolves. �The crowd was bigger than most of last season�s Premiership home games and the atmosphere was amazing. �I would also like to thank all the fans for joining in with the Sky Blue Day, everywhere I looked was a sea of blue. We feel very lucky to have such fantastic supporters. �As a crowd you made a fantastic noise and really gave the team an enormous amount of support, I am only sorry that the match itself was not our best performance but it is very early in the season. �We are still 44 games off our target of getting back into the Premiership, but we are determined to get there and with the kind of support you showed us on Sunday we know we can do it. �All we ask for now is your continued support. �As a gesture of goodwill we would like to offer all fans who would like to go to the Bradford game on Friday free coach travel. �If you have already bought a ticket for the game then please contact the ticket office and we will reimburse your coach fare. � Thank you once again for your tremendous support and faith, you are the best fans in the first division, and we hope to make you the best fans in the Premiership again soon.� |
