Because the story is set in Cartwright's EV Override universe, minimal knowledge of the game may be necessary to fully understand and appreciate the story. To learn more about the EV Override universe before beginning to read, you should probably go here. It is recommended that you visit that part of the site even if you are familiar with EV Override, because some aspects of the game (technology, back history, etc.) may be different in the novella than they were in Cartwright's scenario. It will give you a little bit more insight. This story takes place in the year 2150, the start of EV Override, and before most of its significant events.
All persons and events portrayed within the story are figments of the author's imagination. Any resemblence to any persons living, dead, or undead, or true events is purely coincidental and is a figment of your imagination.
Yes, there is a very old copy of this story out there called Rogue Justice, but a lot has changed, and I like to think that my writing skills have improved a bit. Check it out, if you want, but it's a very early version and it's not really that good.
A few minor updates: Volume 2, which was originally titled "Truth," has been re-titled "The Battle of Sol," for obvious reasons. I'm working on getting cover art for each separate volume, as well as for the story as a whole... more on this later.
