I received you letter just today

I've waited so long to be with you,

now the moment is close

and I wait in anticipation 

of seeing you stand before me.

The feeling of excitement 

building inside me,

waiting for your touch

waiting to see that face

how I have missed it

that smile that lights it.

Its been so long

since I felt you near me

as I stand here and wait

A knock at the door
