SWEET WHISPERS

As I was sitting  here

alone one day

feeling down

in despair

not knowing what to do

what would life throw at me next

all I could see

was life's problems, no way out

one thing after another

hit me in the face

Feeling lonely

and that no help was at hand

feeling I was cracking

under life's heavy strain

Then I heard

this whisper inside my head

telling me

your not alone

don't give up the fight

I am with you

every step of the way

just don't give up

on me

ill be with you

when ever you need me

just call out my name

live is full of hurdles

and we have to play the game

you here to learn

though sometimes it is hard

but winning is the aim

so when your feeling

down and lonely

and that you cant take any more

just remember call my name

and there ill be

to guide you.

I sat there for a while after

wondering who this was

then I heard in the distants

Jesus is my name.
