The moon and stars

Have you looked in the sky

at night

at the beauty and wonder

that lays there,

at the moon that's so bright

it lights up the night

with a wonder that can't

be denied there

The stars by its side

twinkle and shine

with a brilliants of their own

like diamonds

they glisten 

up above us,

helping to light our way

But only together

are they the best,

the moon and stars

together,

they go together

like strawberries and cream

one no good

with out the other.

Their beauty will last

for eternity,

always bright

always shining

 always together

now and forever.
