We come into this life

innocent

not knowing what's to come

we have no feelings

of hate or prejudice

but that is to come

where do they come from

these feelings we get

the hate and the prejudice

always over come

the love that we feel

for all and everyone

Why is hate stronger

than the love that we feel

why is evil stronger

than the good in our hearts

what does it matter

if we're

black, brown or white

why does it matter

if we are different

we are all human

living and breathing
