How can people

hurt these children so young,

abuse and destroy them

one by one

To repeatedly beat them

put them though pain,

that will stay with them always

all their living days

Its beyond my comprehension

i cant work it out

why adults do this

to such a small child,

They should be loved

cherished and spoilt

given the best care

we can give out

So why do adults

do this,

hurt a child,

physical torture

and mental pain

I wish i had the power

to stop this crime

to keep every child

safe from harm

but all we can do

is to open our eyes

if we all paid attention

and saved one child

think of the children

we would save from this crime.
