I hope one day ill see it

standing proud against the sky,

heavens gate I hope awaits me

when my time is done here.

I hope to see my loved ones

who went on ahead,

waiting there to greet me

if I get to heavens gate

I haven't always been deserving

the rules I've sometimes bent

I hope that I can be forgiven

so I can go through 

heavens gate

I haven't gone out

to hurt people

its normally the other way round

I have tried not to judge

those that are different

from me,

   So I pray my lord

can forgive me

the wrongs I have done,

and open up 

heavens gate

so I can go home where

I belong.
