It's that time of year

that the children love

chocolate eggs

by the score

where does it come from

i don't understand

where do the eggs

have there place

at this time 

does anyone remember

what the true meaning is

and what its about

this time of year

about one man

giving up his life,

to save us 

from our sins 

and our weakness,

he tried to save us

from pain and sorrow

he walked the earth

again three days later

to show us all 

his father was our savior

he tried to tell us 

that life doesn't end

if we follow the rules

we will raise again.

so when you eating

your chocolate eggs

think about this time of year

 what he gave up

to set us free

or are we blind
