AUNT ROSE |
You were my aunt You were my friend You showed me things One else can You showed me love When no one else would You showed me caring When no one else did.
We were so alike You and me In looks down to a T, I hope i have your loving ways, And your way with people too
I was proud to call you My aunt , My friend But then one day Ill you became With that dreaded enemy cancer.
You fought so bravely, Right to the end, Never complaining Never showed fear.
Now you have left us And the sun has dimmed, But i know in my heart That the place you are now, Has given peace to your Poor aching soul.
Your at peace And waiting there, At heavens gate, To welcome us there When our time is done And god gives the call Your be there waiting With a smile and a call.
So god bless you And keep you safe, Till we meet again At Gods golden gate.
