In the sunset i sit and ponder,
thoughts of you as i wonder,

What went wrong with the love we shared,
What made you run so frighten so scared,
Did i not love you all or enough,
Did i not cherish your loving touch,

Was it something i said you took the wrong way,
Was it because i begged on my knees for you to stay,

I saw the tears your eyes tried to hide,
I saw the aching you held deep inside,

I tried to reach you with one last call,
I now sit with my sunset and� just ponder it all.
