NOW I SEE

In the quiet of the night,
No sounds,
No light,
Just a cold winters chill,

As i lay my head down to sleep,
Soft memoirs in my mind are so real,

You take my hands in yours to hold,
And gently wipe my tears,
Reminding me of the happy times,
We have shared throughout the years,

And ever so gentle you whisper in my ear,
So softly and yet so clear,

I"ll be right here waiting when its your time,
I"ll be standing here my dear,

I wake in the morning,
Feeling fresh and new,
Today is a brand new start,

Im no longer lonely, for now i know,
