What a difference we find between the heart and mind,
How confusing it can be for one,
Which is it we're suppose to listen to when it comes to finding out about true love?

Some say the heart knows what we need and we should follow it so,
Others say the mind is the way to go,

But when we think they combine as one,
And decisions can be  so confusing we dont really know whats right or wrong,

Its so hard when my heart says I love you,
But my mind says no way,
How can I make a decision when feeling this way,

I somehow believe that my mind will lead to a better path,
Although my heart will ache,
But lets face it , really it has from the start,

As you may see my mind is confused and I really am not sure on what to do,

Did you mean to get me this way?
Was this part of the game that you played?

I alone shall always be,
For you have now ruined every part of me,

Why do i write these words I wonder to myself,
Maybe because the confusion when held within is not good for my health,

At this time i really cant say,
Why I do anything from day to day,

Maybe it's time you took a look at your life,
The way you treat others,
Why you lost your wife,
And maybe I hope in time you can see,
What it is that you've done to me.
