Model Review- 1:144 scale Tallgeese III by The New Nataku

December 2000 for $11.99

First off, _don’t_ buy this kit if you can’t paint. It is molded in completely white. It includes some off color stickers, but don’t use them. The best way to do this kit is to spray everything white, paint the blue, then add detail and panel lines. I really don’t know why they even called this kit a HG. It has the horrible Wing knee joint system, and other shortcomings. It has a cool “mega cannon”, but it is locked in the firing position, unlike the 1:100 scale version. The whip is short, as well! That really takes away from the kit. The beam saber needs to painted fluorescent pink. The backpack vernier engines work pretty good, but not as good as the 1:100 scale's geared ones. On the other hand, if you paint the whole thing correctly, it actually looks very cool. If you put some work into it, it will turn out good, but don’t think you can just snap it together and have a good kit. Not a good kit for your first Gunpra, but if you can paint, go for it!

On a scale of 1- 5, I would give this a 3.8, not because of the required work, but because of the low quality weapons.
