Blacks who served in the 29th Tennessee
This is baced on muster records, which I have not finished going through.
Some on the muster roll may be Black but are not specified.  They who I suspect are Black but I am not sure do not appear on this list.  I will continue my reserch as time permits. Also, many state enlistment for 1 year.  This is common on many records, white and black, however, most soldiers served for longer. (much much longer)

1. Anderson, David - pvt. A Co.  Also, records for a man by the same name in Co. F enlisted Oct 3, 1861

2. Bell, Harrison - pvt. and cook D Co.  Enlisted Sept 12, 1861 at Camp Cummings for 1 year specificly noted as free.

3. Cannon, Newton - pvt. F Co. Enlisted Oct 3, 1861 at Camp Henderson for 1 year

4. Chance, Alexander - pvt. F Co. Enlisted Oct 3, 1861 at Camp Henderson

5. Evans, John - laber G Co. Enlisted Sept 29 1861 at Camp Powell for 1 year

6. Glascock, William - servent F Co. Enlisted Aug 21, 1861 at Knoxville

7. Mason, Charles - cook D Co.

8. Mitchell, Zeal - Pvt. D Co.

9. Philips, William - rank unknown D Co.
