| Brett sez: Definitely an American original. White Zombie and frontman turned solo act Rob Zombie are literally one helluva band. The music is hard, the lyrics are evil, and the pace is furious. I never got a chance to see the band play, but I saw Rob Zombie at Ozzfest 99' and I'm convinved that it's just as good. The live show has everything from dancing go-go girls from hell to twenty foot flames shooting out of the stage around them. Satanic overtones prevail here, and the crowd just loves it. My personal fav is La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol 1, but you can't go wrong with Astro Creep, Hellbilly Deluxe, or any of the remix albums. Rob also had a song on the MI:2 soundtrack called Scum of the Earth which kicks some major ass as well. |
