| Remember when Titanic was the biggest thing around? The sappiest love story of our time deserved nothing more than the sappiest love song of our time. And that it received, masterfully crafted by none other than the queen of sappy love songs, Celene Dion. I recall hearing Celene for the first time in French class. My teacher had quite a thing for her, and she was a big hit in France. Unfortunately, her singing ability was soon overshadowed by her evil thirst for money which was topped off by marrying a top record executive. And we all know what follows greed and money don't we? EGO! There's nothing more sickening than watching the egofest/catfight that is VH1's Divas, and Mrs. Dion is one of many overrated and OLD singers featured on this program. Celene recently announced her retirement, let's hope that she doesn't pull a Micheal Jordan.... |
