| Brett sez: A wild collaboration of funk, punk, and they blaze the skunk....what more can ya ask for? I was first introduced to Hed when I saw them on the main stage at Ozzfest 99'. There were people around me who knew all their songs by heart while I stood there like an ignorant jackass. The first CD is a nice blend of rap and rock while the newer ("Broke") has more of a punk flair to it. The former is my favorite of the two, as some of the new stuff just doesn't sound quite as polished as it could be. Frontman M.C.U.D. has mad skills and quite a vocal range he uses to belt out a unique style he likes to refer to as "G-punk." Definitely a band worth checking out. |
