Frequently asked questions
Q. How did you first come across a shroo?
Q. What can I do to help exterminate this evil force?
Q. Why doesn't the government do anything about this problem?
Q. Where can I get more information?
Well it was a few years ago now butI remember it all like it was yesterday. A new girl appeared at work from out of nowhere. She seemed pleasant enough but soon muscled her way into my circle of friends. Right from the start I could sense that there was something not quite right about her but I just couldn't put my finger on it. I distinctly remember a friend saying that she looked like a rodent but I didn't think anything of it. It wasn't until I was in a peculiar old book shop where I was approached by the creepy old owner, that the full truth was uncovered. He thrust a dusty old book into my hands, and winking said "Take this, you'll need it." I asked what he was going on about but he only replied "You are one of the chosen ones" Startled I left the shop, went home and looked at the book.
It was obviously ancient and difficult to understand but it vasn't until I saw one of the illustrations, which looked exactly like the new girl, that I knew what I had to do in life. That book told me everything I needed to know about shroo's and the secret threat to humanity.
I'm afraid the government knows very little about shroo's. No doubt there is some sort of x-file on the subject. True believers ars usually mocked at and no person in authority would even admit to being one for fear of loosing their jobs. Missing people are usually put down to being run-aways or ramblers who got lost. Unfortunatly shroo's are very good at covering their tracks. It takes a long time to be able to see the signs.
Well, keep an eye out certainly. If you see or suspect you know a shroo then the best thing you can do is to watch and study it. The more information we know about these creatures the better.
Spread the word. Make sure everyone you know is told about shroo's and the damage they can do.
Do not approach a shroo until you are confident it does not feel threatened by you. Establish if it is Snuffkin or Shroo.
And finaly report any sightings back to this site so I can build up a national shroo database.
Stay tuned to this space for more info, also browse around the net. Look at sites about ancient mythological creatures where shroos can be found under different names.
