I'm torn here sportsfans, I really am. Part of me is almost in shock yet another part of me wants to laugh hysterically. Seriously, one would think that if people were willing to strap bombs to themselves and run into public places and blow themselves up, that those same people wouldn't act like such babies, you know? But hey, I've always thought the acts of terrorists are cowardly since they don't have the guts for a straight-up fight. I don't know if you've seen the news about this, but it seems that over the last week or so some foreign newspapers printed cartoons with images of the Muslim "prophet" Muhammad. Now, according to the Muslim faith, ANY image of Muhammad is considered blaspheme, and considering that these cartoons weren't exactly praising him, the Muslims are all outraged. You know what I say? Tough...get over it...and I'm sure I'm not alone in this sentiment. One I found quite amusing had Muhammad standing in the clouds in front of a line of people who were suicide bombers...their clothes are all burned and it shows them still smoldering...and he says "Stop stop! We ran out of virgins!" HAHAHAHAHAHA! That's hilarious to me...it really is. In case you've been living in a cave for the last few years, their faith teaches them that by blowing themselves up in a jihad gets them 72 virgins in heaven...you know because God is all about defiling virgins. These cartoons appeared in newspapers in Germany, France, and Denmark to name a few. So what did the Muslims over there do to show their displeasure? Did they write a letter to the editor like a normal human being might? Oh of course not...in Gaza some dudes with guns seized an office of the European Union demanding an apology, then another group decided to burn the flag of Denmark and chant crap like "Death to Denmark", a couple of countries pulled ambassadors from Denmark and of course there were tons of death threats and blah blah blah. I mean these dudes are pissed. Now here's what I find the strangest about this whole thing - former President Bill Clinton said "So now what are we going to do? Replace the anti-Semitic prejudice with anti-Islamic prejudice?" The reason I find his statement so strange is that it was in the 1990's when a piece of "art" was unveiled in America called "Piss Christ". Do you remember this? It was a picture of a crucifix with Jesus on it submerged in a glass of urine. I guess that's ok, but heaven forbid someone make a cartoon depicting the founder of the very faith that's trying to exterminate everyone who doesn't believe the same way they do. Hey Bill...you're out of office now...you can shut up anytime. You got impeached for lying, remember? Yeah, a guy who is accused of rape is someone I'm really going to put a lot of stock in when he opens his mouth.
I'm so sick of this "we gotta be nice to Muslims" crap I can't even see straight. Every day my faith is either made fun of or blasphemed. Heck even network TV has shows where people can take the Lord's name in vain. Do I burn stuff or issue death threats? No. You know why? Because I'm not some kind of savage, that's why. I swear, look at the countries where Islam is law...do they even resemble the 20th century? Has anything that contributes to the greater good of mankind come from there? Take a look at this quote from Winston Churchill...yeah...THE Winston Churchill:

So to those offended by the cartoons...grow up. Like I said, I deal with things blaspheming my faith all the time but I don't start burning flags and issuing death threats over it. Outside of the fact that I'm not some kind of savage, I also know that God will deal with those people when He chooses to. Sure, I can voice my opinion, but I'm not going to retaliate over it. And you know what? When you get right down to it, the Muslim faith blasphemes my faith just by its existence. How? Because they call Jesus a prophet and don't recognize Him as The Son of God. They see Muhammad as greater then Jesus, and in my world that just isn't going to work. My Bible says that those who deny the Son deny the Father, so if the faith of Islam denies Jesus as The Son of God, wouldn't that mean that according to the Christian faith Muslims don't worship the same God as I do? I do believe so.
This is why this war on terrorism is so huge. We're dealing with a mentality of people who think it's a wonderful thing to die for their cause because they will receive 72 virgins in Heaven. Even Nazi's didn't believe that!!! They can't be reasoned with, there is no way to achieve a peaceful resolution with these lunatics...they must be exterminated like the cockroaches they are. And if the fact these people are acting this way over some cartoons doesn't show you how psychotic they are, then I feel sorry for you.
