What Thomas Paine said is the theme this week.  Why?  Because I'm reaching a breaking point.  This isn't about politics...which to me is Republican versus Democrat and is a load of crap...this is about right and wrong.  For instance, I could easily sit here today and go on and on about the stories coming out on the untruth of the stories of hurricane horror aftermath, how the stuff reported in the Superdome didn’t really happen, how Michael Brown of FEMA told off a panel at a hearing chastising local government in Louisiana…but I won’t.  Why would I want to?  It doesn’t matter what happened afterwards, we need to spend more time concentrating on ways to stop these hurricanes…and thank God we got those answers this week.  Now I knew this woman was talented when I first heard “The Way We Were” as a kid…I knew she was more than just another singer.  I had no idea that Barbara Streisand also knew the ins and the outs of how weather systems work…but I should have.  There will come a day when I finally open my eyes and realize that celebrities know more about the environment, foreign policy, economics, American history, and religion than I could EVER hope for.  She decided it was time to speak out this week after another hurricane hit the gulf coast, and maybe…just maybe this time we’ll listen to someone of such superior intellect.  Ms. Streisand has informed us all as to why these hurricanes are hitting.  Myself, I thought it was just due to normal weather patterns and cyclical fronts and pressure systems.  Well I was way off…the answer was much more simple then that.  Ms. Streisand has now informed us this is all because of one thing – global warming.  If only more people in this country weren’t products of a public school system and could have attended a few red carpet affairs and Hollywood parties we would be more enlightened.  If only I could spend my days in a Malibu beach house doing hours and hours of painstaking research to become more educated.  I’m just thankful that someone else took the time to learn this and educate me on it.

Ok, enough with the sarcasm.  Let me put it bluntly – Barbara Streisand is an idiot.  Why?  She comes out with this gem at the same time the National Hurricane Center released the statistics of hurricane activity for the last 150 years.  What do they have to say?  Well from 1901 to 1950 there were 34 hurricanes that were a category 3, 4, or 5.  Now one might think since the industry boom of the latter half of the 20th century, this number would go up if you buy into the whole thing about global warming causing them.  But guess what?  From 1951 to 2000 there were 28 hurricanes that were a category 3, 4, or 5.  Compare that to the stats from the years 1851 to 1900...there were 27 major hurricanes in America.  Puts a whole lot of validity to the global warming causing hurricanes argument, huh?

I saw Cindy Sheehan got arrested at her little protest in Washington…hopefully she’ll hit a guard or something and get locked up for a loooong time.  Did you see the picture of her smiling as she’s getting arrested?  Yeah, she really looks like a mom who’s mourning the loss of her son instead of being this quasi-celebrity she now thinks she is.  And did you see who else showed up at her little anti-war rally?  One might think that it was just a large group of fellow Americans who are against the war.  Ummm….no.  Believe it or not, there were just a few people there with an agenda.  I know I know, hard to believe.  There were groups there such as ANSWER (which is a front group for the Workers World Party, a bunch of communists basically), United For Peace and Justice (the UFPJ, which has ties to the Revolutionary Communist Party…the leader of UFPJ is named Leslie Cagen who is a long time supporter of Fidel Castro),  speaker Mahdi Bray, a founding board member of the National Coalition to Protect Political Freedom (who’s founder, Sami al-Arian was arrested in 2003 for constructing a terrorist cell in Florida), the Nazi Peace Axis and the Socialist Equality Party were also there distributing information.  Huh, and here I was thinking that it was just normal people with no agenda who were against the war.  I never in a million years would think that various communist, socialist, and terrorist groups would be there to try and do anything to subvert this country.  What a shock that is.  Ever heard of Joseph Stalin?  You know the madman who was the leader of Russia during World War II?  He called these activist types who run around to these protests as “useful idiots” because they did the leg work to promote his twisted anti-capitalism views.  I can’t say they’re useful, but the idiots part I completely agree with.

I see some Islamic whatever group has bitched to Washington about pictures that have surfaced on the internet of dead terrorists.  Supposedly American soldiers were posting them and the Islamic people are all offended.  So I guess all the beheadings we’ve seen broadcast on the internet are ok then, right?  Also some Islamic whatever group has petitioned the United States Congress to recognize Ramadan.  Of course CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) is all for this…they stated “the resolution [is] an important tool for encouraging dialogue between Muslims and their elected officials, as well as enhancing understanding of the Islamic faith”.  Sure thing guys.  After all, this is the same group that had the founding member of their Texas chapter tried and convicted on charges of aiding terrorists last April.  Look these guys up, they aren’t exactly a group interested in working together.  This group also fights like hell against that evil Patriot Act…you know the stuff Bush implemented that is basically a form of martial law, so some people think.  Let me ask a question here, if we are supposedly losing all these freedoms and liberties as CAIR or the ACLU would have us believe because of the Patriot Act, why is it that the people who are so opposed to this government and basically commit treason by what they say/do when they hold their rallies aren’t being rounded up by the thousands and locked away?  I’ll tell you why…because the ACLU are a bunch of friggin communist bastards that hate this country and will lie like hell and do anything they can to drag this country down and ruin it.  Read up on the history of the ACLU and I think you’ll be quite surprised about this organization that supposedly stands for our liberties.  Roger Baldwin, a co-founder of the ACLU is quoted as saying “"I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the properties class, and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal."  This is also the same group that is now defending terrorists at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, and has instructed them that the terrorists do not have to speak during interrogation.  What the hell???  First off, I can’t believe the military caved in and let these commies come down there…but now they get to sit in on interrogations like the terrorist is some client accused of stealing or something???  But back to the thing on what CAIR said about Congress recognizing Ramadan (and if you don’t know what that is, it’s the month the Muslims fast from sunrise to sundown for some reason).  Tell you what CAIR, the day you and your cronies like the ACLU stop threatening to sue anytime a city wants to put on a Christmas parade, or refer to the “winter holidays” as Christmas break, or try to get the Ten Commandments removed from courts, maybe then it might be considered…maybe...but I wouldn’t hold my breath.  In the meantime shut the hell up.

Some might consider me some a radical right-winger, some might think I'm a war monger, some might call me a bigot...I really don't care.  What I care about is the principles this country was founded on and making sure they stay intact and not be sacrificed because of some special interest group of communists, socialists, or Islamofacists (to quote Michael Savage) destroying everything this country stands for.

Ahhh…take a deep breath Bo and calm down…shhhhhh.  Let me switch gears drastically.  Remember when I was talking about my movie last time?  Well it’s finished and the judging for this contest takes place next week…with the winners being announced at the Nashville Horror Convention the following weekend.  I’ll be very interested to see what the other films are like.  I’d talk a little about the movie we did, but I don’t want to leak the idea just yet as a precaution.  I’ll do that next week after all have been submitted.  I’ll say this for right now…don’t ever bury a clown alive…hahahahaha.
