Clan Crafting Policy:

Crafting is one of the best and easiest ways in the game to make money and provide players with up-to-date gear for their level. Most guilds in WoW have no idea how to run their crafting, leading to players who are ill-equipped or low on cash (and we all want that mount at level 40, don't we?)

Clan Rakhrensh wants to provide for its members as best it can, and the system we have come up with will do just that. Each crafting school will have one character- either a high-ranked player or an alt of that player- who provides for the clan. All other players are encouraged to take TWO gathering professions to keep these characters stocked with high amounts of material.

While this is not MANDATORY, it is highly suggested. All characters who provide at least one gathering service to the clan crafters will be guaranteed whatever gear they need, as long as the crafters have the skill and material necessary. Getting this system right will take time, but it will be very beneficial in the long run.

Here are the clan crafters:

Leatherworking: Skullbreaker
Blacksmithing: Ghara
Alchemy: Krang
Tailoring: Nasjin
Enchanting: Nasjin
Engineering: Isoke (this position is open for volunteers to take until further notice)

Suggested skill choices:

Skinning- any leather-wearing character should take skinning. Even those who wear mail after 40 should stick with skinning: many artisan leather recipes create mail and require leather and hides, not ores.

Mining: Any mail/plate wearing class should take mining. This is also a good secondary choice for any class to take. Ores are valuable for many things besides armor. Don't forget to smelt before you send to the clan crafters, it will raise your skill faster than actually mining. ALL mined material (including stones) should be sent to Ghara.

Herbalism: Any class can take this skill, as potions are useful to everyone. Cloth wearing classes who don't need leather or mail gear are suggested to take herbalism as one of their skills.

Cloth drops can be gathered by anyone, as they are common finds from mob corpses. Warriors and rogues are strongly suggested to take First Aid, as it is a must for soloing and PvP for melee classes. Any extra cloth that is not needed for bandages, however, should be sent to Nasjin.

Enchanting: All green+ gear should be shared among the clan if the finder does not want it. If no one needs it, it is the finder's choice to either a. sell it to a non clan player for a good price or b. send it to Nasjin to be disenchanted. Enchanting can be a very profitable skill, and once our clan enchanter is high enough in skill our members will have some very nice enchanted gear (for free) but this means everyone has to help out.

Remember, all this is *optional*. If you do not share materials with the clan, however, you will not recieve the free gear others will.

As the clan grows, we will be allowing more players to take on crafting roles. For example, there are three schools of leatherworking at artisan level; we'd like to have one leatherworker for each eventually. Keep an eye out for positions opening up.
