The anime series Shaman King was originally aired in Japan and ran for a whole 64 episodes before it was brought to a rather unsatisfying end (::cough::). There are no plans to continue the show, but the manga is still ongoing and is published in the popular shounen magazine Weekly Jump.

Last year, the anime was licensed by 4Kids and episodes 1-26 were dubbed and aired on the Fox Box in North America roundabout August 2003. As of yet, there is no official release date for the DVD's, but I did come across this interesting link, which, although not a press release in itself, does state that FUNimation will apparently be releasing uncut versions of both Shaman King and Yu-Gi-Oh sometime in the fall of 2004.
