1 Jan 1941Vickers Wellington no. T2517 Crashed in foul weather during landing approach near Swinderby, after raid on Bremen. Whole crew lost: S/Ldr Floryanowicz, F/O Kulbacki, P/O Olszyna, Sgt Guzowski, Sgt Gackowski and Sgt Hejnowski.

2 Jan 1941Vickers Wellington no. T2518Mission to Bremen. Shot down near emergency airfield over England by a German fighter. Lost were: F/O Sadowski, P/O Murawski, P/O Dziubinski, Sgt Kasianowskiand Sgt K. Sawicz. Sgt Wancisiewicz safe.

21 Mar 1941Vickers Wellington no. L7874Probably due to a sudden close of flaps, a/c crashed near Bramcote during training flight. Whole crew lost: F/O Korycinski, Sgt Lenczowski and Sgt Chrzanowski.

9 May 1941Vickers Wellington no. R1227 Lost over the sea during raid on Bremen, probably shot down by fighter. Whole crew lost: F/O Dudek, F/O Brzozowski, P/O Rewkowski, Sgt Bojakowski, Sgt Lipecki and SgtGolebiowski.

19 June 1941Vickers Wellington no. R1365Lost over the sea during raid on Bremen, probably shot down by fighter. Whole crew lost: F/O Krassowski,F/O Bernas, Sgt Wagner, Sgt Bonkowski, Sgt Franaszczuk and Sgt Manasiak.

23 June 1941Vickers Wellington no. R1026 Sortie for Bremen. Right after take-off one engine lost a propeller and a/c crashed at Kirkington. Lost were: P/O Pietruszka and Sgt Tegowski. F/O Sawlewicz, Sgt Popiawski, Sgt Florczak and Sgt Grzyrnski safe with light wounds.

30 June 1941Vickers Wellington no. R1373According to German archives, shot down by a night fighter near Nienburg during raid on Bremen. Sgt Korab-Brzozowski was killed in action. F/Lt Kozlowski, W/O Bujak, F/Lt Hubieki, W/O Weiss and W/O Hasinski bailed out and taken prisoners.

4 July 1941Vickers Wellington no. R1492 Mission for Bremen. Shot down by a fighter near Absen in Holland. Lost was G/Cpt Stachon. F/Lt Butkiewkz, F/O Palka, W/O Dyde, W/O Idzikowski and Sgt Dziegiel safe, taken prisoners.

25 July 1941Vickers Wellington no. T2576 Failed to take of during training flight and crashed at the Hamswell airfield's peripheral. Lost was P/O Rebuszynski. P/O Bernasinski safe, slightly wounded.

9 Aug 1941 Vickers Wellington no. T2625 . Shot down by a fighter during bomb run over Hamburg, and crashed near Bean. Lost were: F/O Liniewski, F/O Wiszniewski, P/O Cioch and Sgt Kozlowski. Sgt Baderski and Sgt Gacon bailed out to became POWs.

8 Nov 1941 Vickers Wellington no. Z1277 GR-Z. (See picture at unit's history page) Damaged by flak during raid on Maneheim, a/c force landed in Germany. The crew safe, taken prisoners: F/Lt. Kolanowski, W/O Boldewicz, W/O Lenczowski, W/O Szczepanowski, W/O Wróblewski, Sgt Monyn. Kolanowski took part in the famous escape from the notorious Stalag Luft III, then captured and executed on 25 March 1944.

22 Jan 1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1285Shot down near English coast by a German fighter while returning from a mission to Münster. Whole crew lost: P/O Reda, Sgt C. Kosmalski, Sgt Soroko, Sgt Nocon, Sgt Rokus and Sgt Borecki.

25 Feb 1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1377Lost over the sea on its way to bomb Cologne. Whole crew lost: F/O Jablonski, F/O Fugiel, P/O Koziel, Sgt Drozdzik, Sgt Dolataand Sgt Bujak.

13 Mar1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1257Probably shot down over the sea by a fighter while returning from a raid on Cologne. Whole crew lost: F/O Zakrzewski, F/O Perkowski, Sgt Kosior, Sgt Ziajski, Sgt Siudaand Sgt Korzon.

26 Mar1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1262Shot down by flak soon after unloading on Essen. Whole crew lost: P/O Kowal, P/O Jaroszyk, P/O Retur, P/O Grycz, Sgt Galaszewski and Sgt Bochaczek.

15 Apr 1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1379On its way to bomb Dortmund, a/c shot over the sea down by a fighter. Lost were:F/O Zamoyski, P/O Rzemyk, Sgt Truszkowski and Sgt Niewiadomski. F/Lt Reyman and W/O Wojan were rescued and taken prisoners.

2 June 1942 Vickers Wellington no. R1615Shot down by flak 15 S of Turnhoum in Belgium on its way to Essen. Whole crew lost: F/O Praschill, F/O Kiwacz, P/O Halastra, P/O W. Glowacki, Sgt Zeligowskiand Sgt Zalewski.

6 June 1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1331Probably shot down over the sea by a fighter while returning from a raid on Essen. Whole crew lost: F/O Kozak, F/O Plawski, F/O Wybraniec, Sgt Radecki, Sgt Podgorski and F/Sgt Czerwonka.
Vickers Wellington no. Z1467 Shot down by a fighter near village of Slootdorp in Holland.Raid on Essen. Whole crew lost: F/O Witakowski, F/O Lukasik, P/OKulakowski, Sgt Lewkowicz, Sgt Nogaj and Sgt Danik.

7 June 1942 Vickers Wellington no. R1390Shot down near by a fighter near Borkum Island. Raid on Emden. Lost were: F/O Powierza, W/O Podgorzak, Sgt Szykowny, Sgt Sapieha and Sgt Bober. P/O Kowalowka, bailed out and POW.

23 June 1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1345Shot down over the sea by a fighter after raid on Emden. Whole crew lost: F/O Michalik, P/O Dubas, SgtKapa, SgtTwarkowski and Sgt Meller.

26 June 1942 Vickers Wellington no. (?)Shot down over Germany, raid on Bremen. Crew safe: W/Cdr Krzystyniak, F/Lt Tobolski, F/Lt Prazniewski, W/O Przybylski, W/O J. Szymankiewicz and W/O Kwiatkowski. F/Lt Tobolski took part in the famous escape from the Stalag Luft III, then captured and executed on 25 March 1944.

3 July 1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1314Shot down on its way to Bremen by a fighter near Borgen, Germany. Lost was Sgt Kedzierski. The rest of the crew: F/O Atenski, F/O Brzozowski, P/O Benoit and Sgt Kowalczyk safe, taken prisoners.
Vickers Wellington no. Z1204Shot down over the sea by a fighter during raid on Bremen. Whole crew lost: F/O Krasnodebski, F/Sgt Kubiak, Sgt Poktant, Sgt Lozinski, Sgt Lugowskiand Sgt Czapski.

7 July 1942 Vickers Wellington no. R1650Crash landed after mission to Bremen. Pilot F/O Aduckiewicz decided to belly land damaged a/c at Hamswell. Lost were: Sgt Z. Wesolowskiand Sgt Wojteczko. F/O Aduckiewicz, Sgt M. Król, Sgt Iwanicz and Sgt Niezrecki safe with minor injuries.

22 July 1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1405Lost over sea o its way to bomb Duisburg. Whole crew lost: P/O Bock, F/O Lipowczan, P/O Glowacki, Sgt Pawlak and Sgt Barteczko.
Vickers Wellington no.
Z1406Exploded in mid air when hit by flak near Wanne-Eidkel in Holland. Raid on Duisburg. A/c part fell on a town of Herne. Lost were: F/O Lewicki, F/O Kucza, P/O Kuderski, F/O Paszkowski and Sgt Maliszewski. W/O Fusniak bailed out safely and taken prisoner.
Vickers Wellington no. H 1472. Shot down by two German FW190s while on a rescue mission 40 miles E of Yarmouth. Lost were: F/O Szymanowski, F/Sgt Rudeland Sgt Nowak. P/O Majcherczyk and Sgt W. Jablonski safe.

6 Aug1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1386Damaged by flak during mine-laying operations near port of Lorient, a/c ditched near target. Lost were: P/O Domanski, P/O Ciolek,Sgt Frankowski, Sgt Kurowski and Sgt Gahnes. W/O Hun was rescued and taken prisoner.

8 Oct 1942 Vickers Wellington no. Z1255After laying its mines, a/c shot down near Koegras (Den Helder) in Holland by a fighter. Lost were: F/O Stapor, Sgt Szczepanski, Sgt Sapeta and Sgt Bielec. Wounded, Sgt Chudy was rescued and taken prisoner.

7 Dec 1942Vickers Wellington no. Z1337Damaged by flak over Manheim. Over England, pilot ordered the crew to bail out. Only three crews followed, but their parachutes drifted in a strong wing over the sea where all three perished: F/O Grodzki, Sgt Fenger and Sgt Ponulak. Pilot F/O Karol Suszczynski, F/O Chmiel and Sgt Kosyn were safe.

12 X 1942Vickers Wellington no. R1585Damaged by flak during mine-laying near Danish coast, force landed 25 km SE of Hyttekorel. Seriously wounded Sgt Blachowski died the same day in Hadenslav. F/O Stachurski, Sgt Kowalski, Sgt Turuta and Sgt Molewiczwere safe and taken prisoners.

9 Jan 1943 Vickers Wellington no. R1535Damaged by a fighter during mine-laying near Spiekeroog (Frisian Isles), a/c crashed during force landing near Dunmoor Hill. Lost were: F/O Sokolinski, F/O Tyrala, Sgt Tabaczynski and Sgt Pasierski. Sgt J. Korczynski safe and POW.

18 Apr 1943HP Halifax no. DT725 Failed to return from a supply mission to near Moulin, France. In January 1946, the a/c remnants were found near Owesy, 10 miles SE of Caen. Believed to be shot down by flak. Whole crew lost: F/Lt Lawrenczuk, F/O Ginter, F/Sgt Mirenow, Sgt Utasiuk, Sgt Gadomski and Sgt J. H. Aspden(British).

12 May 1943HP Halifax no. DT627Lost over the sea during special operations near Dutch coast. Whole crew lost: F/Lt Polnik, F/O Polkowski, F/Sgt Womno, Sgt Kurzak, Sgt Germasinski, Sgt Piatkowski and Sgt Bednarski.

 13 July 1943HP Halifax no. JD155 Shot down near St. Paul-sur-Risle during a supply mission for French resistance. Whole crew lost: F/Lt Morawski,F/Lt Lewicki, F/Sgt Rusinski, F/Sgt Bonk, F/Sgt Jenski, F/Sgt Nawrot and Sgt Tomaszewski.

15 Sep 1943 HP Halifax no. JD154 Lost over Poland near Nowe Skalmierzyce (Poznan) during a supply mission. Whole crew perished: F/Lt Jakusz-Gostomski, F/Lt Gebik, W/O Pacut, F/Sgt W. Jablonski, Sgt Kuczkowski, F/Sgt Misiakand Sgt Fojer. Also died three agents on board.

6 Jan 1944Liberator no. BZ589 A/c damaged by flak during supply mission to Poland, then in foul weather made emergency landing at Grotaglia (Italy) where overshot and fell to the sea. Lost were: F/Lt Bohuszewicz,F/Lt Pulczynski, F/Lt Kuzmicki, F/O Finder, F/Sgt Taczalski, F/Sgt Blazenski and Sgt Drong. F/Lt J. Dobrowolski safe.
Liberator no. BZ949Heavily iced, a/c crashed near Villa Castell while attempting emergency landing at Grotaglia. Returning from special ops to Poland, the whole crew was killed: F/Lt W. Paszkiewicz, F/Lt Domaradzki, F/Sgt Dunski, F/Sgt Olkiewicz, F/Sgt Magdziarek, Sgt Halik, Sgt Marchwicki and Sgt Bucko.

2 Aug 1944HP Halifax no. JP238 Shot down near Szantes, 150 km SE of Budapest by a German fighter while on supply mission to Warsaw Uprising. Lost were: W/O Lewandowskiand Sgt Szejnowski. P/O Domanski, W/O Wolski, W/O Chinaruk, W/O Ptoszek and F/Sgt Raflewski were safe and taken prisoners.

15 Aug 1944Liberator no. KG 890 After making a successful drop at Warsaw, the a/c was attacked by two German fighters shot down near Bochnia. Some crew bailed out when the a/c was too low. Whole crew lost: F/Lt Szostak, F/Lt Daniel, W/O Malczyk, W/O Dubowski, W/O Bielicki, F/Sgt Rutkowski and F/Sgt Witek.

17 Aug 1944 HP Halifax no. JJ220The a/c was damaged over Warsaw where it lost both starboard engines. It crash landed near Bochnia. W/O Bohanes bailed out but was machine gunned by a fighter while still in harness. The rest of the crew, F/O Schöffer, W/O Owsiany, P/O Lopuszanski, P/O Bemhardt, Sgt Kretowicz, Sgt Denisienko and Sgt Luck, evaded capture and returned to England.

17 Aug 1944 Liberator no. 275 On its way to Warsaw the a/c was attacked and damaged by two night fighters over Gorlice and turned home on three engines. Near Gladyszow it crash landed right after some crew bailed out. Pilot F/Lt Pluta and Sgt Marecki died in a crash. Killed in a low altitude jump were: F/O Jencka, W/O Malejka, F/Sgt Wichrowski, F/Sgt Florkowski andSgt Dudziak.

27 Aug 1944HP Halifax no. JN895Probably shot down by a night fighter near Warsaw. Whole crew lost: F/Sgt Woroch, Sgt Kantowski, Sgt Wantulok, Sgt Szmigielski, Sgt Klosowski, Sgt Majewski and Sgt Augustyn.
HP Halifax no. JD171 On its way to Warsaw a/c shot down by flak over Yugoslavia near Draz. Lost were: F/O Jasinski, F/O W. Koziol, P/O Mühln, F/Sgt Graff, Sgt Paszkiewicz and SgtSzyller. Thrown out during explosion, F/Sgt Danilkiewicz was safe and taken prisoner.
HP Halifax no. JD362Shot down by flak near Baksbokod in Hungary. Whole crew lost: Sgt Jodis, F/O Sorówka, P/O Kleniewski, F/Sgt Radwan-Kuzelewski, Sgt Witkowski, Sgt Walaszek and Sgt Ogrodnik.

28 Aug 1944HP Halifax no. JP495Probably shot down over Adriatic. Whole crew lost: F/Lt Omylak,P/O Widacki, P/O Dunin-Horkowicz, F/O Mroczko, Sgt Ozga, Sgt Skorczykand Sgt Balcarek

2 Sep 1944HP Halifax no. DP180Shot down by flak over Jászfenyszaru E of Budapest. Mission to Warsaw. Whole crew lost: F/O Baworowski, F/Sgt Blazejewski, F/Sgt Walczyk, F/Sgt Polaczek, F/Sgt Paetz, Sgt Lojas and Sgt Banasik.
HP Halifax no. JN889On its way to Warsaw the a/c was shot down by a night fighter over Vukovar (Yugoslavia) Lost were: F/Sgt Bar, Sgt Marynowski and Sgt Tyrol. F/O Jan Abezynski, W/O Sibilski, Sgt Michalkiewicz and Sgt Frankowiak evaded capture and in two weeks returned to the unit.

BB389 Shot down over Baki Brestovac by flak during mission to Warsaw. Lost were: W/O Nalepa. F/Sgt Derewienko, F/Sgt Jag, Sgt Pialucha, Sgt Staniewicz and Sgt Bialoszewski. F/Sgt Jawor safe, evaded capture for three days then taken prisoner.

DK124Shot down by flak over Mohacz (Hungary). Mission to Warsaw. Lost was F/Lt Rosiniuk. The rest of the crew, P/O Data, F/Sgt Jawonowski, F/Sgt Rygielski, F/Sgt Lebnowski and Sgt Ogledzki safe, taken prisoners.

11 Sep1944HP Halifax no. JP288failed to return from a supply sortie to Warsaw. In 1946 it was discovered that the a/c crashed near village Gsorva in Yugoslavia. Whole crew lost: P/O Lach, P/O Kozlowski, F/Sgt Fedzinski, Sgt Pazdzior, SgtMucha, SgtPodsiadly and Sgt Dziadula.

13 Sep1944Liberator no. KH101Shot down by flak over Madaras (Hungary). Mission to Warsaw. Whole crew lost: F/O Woytanowicz, P/O Rygiel, W/O Wawrzak, W/O R. Sikorski, W/O Weinz, F/Sgt Weben and Sgt Zielinski.

23 Sep1944 HP Halifax no. JP222Damaged by flak during a supply sortie to Warsaw, returning a/c overshot runaway at Brindisi and crashed into the sea. Whole crew lost: P/O Molinski, F/Sgt Beer, Sgt Kuhn, Sgt Milewski, Sgt Martyniuk, Sgt Kozlowski, Sgt Minowskiand observer F/Lt S. F. Wolf.

28 Dec 1944HP Halifax no. UL187Reportedly shot down by machine gun fire over Metetice (Slovakia) during a supply sortie to Warsaw. Whole crew lost: F/Lt Kryszczuk, F/Lt Wianecki, W/O Uram, W/O Krzedzewski, W/O Madierzynski, F/Sgt Lisik, F/Sgt Muller and Sgt Majer.

19 Jan 1945 Liberator no. KH151After a supply mission to occupied Europe, a/c overshot the runway at Brindisi and fell into the sea. Lost were: S/Ldr W. Zurawski,W/O S. Slowik and W/O Gagala. P/O Czamota, P/O Weytia, W/O Skoczylas and Sgt Watidzel safe with light injuries.

27 July 1945 Vickers Warwick no. HG226 Crashed 20 miles S of Lyon during transport flight from Greece to London, probably brought down by a fire following struck by lighting. Whole crew lost: F/Lt Ratajczak, W/O Bak, Sgt Mikolajczakand Sgt Kocon.

22 Nov 1945Liberator no. KH126Crashed in hills near Whites Farm, Broadway Pound (Somerset) during transport flight. Whole crew lost: F/Lt Mielecki, F/O Kleyborod,F/O Wize, F/O Meyers(RAF) and F/Sgt J. Brzezinski. Also perished 22 British soldiers.
