Gretchin

Gretchin are a smaller orkoid race subservient to the orks. They tend to pave the way for the orks and perform menial tasks. Though not stupid their size (3 to 4 feet tall) and their lack of strength allows them to get pushed around. They actually are quite capable riggers and mekboy aids – arguable less stupid than the orks who rule them.

Size: Small. Gretchin gain a +1 on their attack rolls and +1 to their Defense. They suffer a -4 size penalty on Grapple checks and gain a +4 size bonus on Hide checks.

Ability Score Adjustments: -4 Strength, +4 Dexterity, -2 Constition, -2 Wisdom.

Skill Adjustments: None

Starting Feats: 2

Bonus Skills: +2 bonus on Move Silently and Climb checks. Both of these skills always count as class skills. A Gretchin is both sneaky and a good at getting around a big world.

Special: Worthless fighter: -2 penalty to base attack bonus. Grots just aren’t meant to fight. Clear Mine Field: Grots are often employed to clear mine fields so they become especially good at avoid the bad spots and disbaling traps. +4 spot but only regarding traps and +4 disable device but only regarding traps.

Level Adjustment: +0, a Gretchin can be played in a fairly balanced ork party.
