Sisters
of Battle
In the
36th Millenium the power of the Ecclesiarchy was absolute virtually
unchallenged, though for centuries that Administratum had fought against this
continued dominance. The High Lord Gorge Vantir shattered the Eccliastic
dominance reinstating the Administratum before the beginning of the 37th
millenium. His victory was absolute and his first decree was that the Church
would never again be allowed to have “men under arms” to prevent such a
dominance from occuring again. The Sisters of Battle or the Adeptus Sororitas
did not break this ban and were a loophole in the Administratum’s decree. They
are the official fighting force of the Church of Mankind. Sisters of Battle are
somewhat genetically engineered but not nearly so much as Space Marines. They
do not have extra organs nor are they extremely tall but they tend to be
superior in physical abilites than ordinary humans.

Special
Faith: A Sister of
Battle’s faith is her armour. She gets a bonus to her Defense equal to her Wisdom
modifier.
Order
Non-Militant Order: All
non-militant sisters have the following ability score adjustments. +2 Dex, +2
Int, +2 Wis, +2 Cha. These replace the Sister of Battles ordinary ability score
adjustments.
Order of the Ebon Chalice: The Ebon Chalice contains a potion of might. +2 Str in addition to the
normal ability score modifiers.
Order of the Argent Shroud: The Argent Shroud is as tough as metal. +2 Con in addition
to the normal ability score modifiers.
Order of our Martyred Lady: The Martyred Lady is the greatest order. +2 Cha in addition
to the normal ability score modifiers.
Order of the Valorous Heart: The Valorous Heart is the most learnéd. +2 Int in addition
to the normal ability score modifiers.
Order of the Sacred Rose:
The Sacred Rose is the most pious. +2 Wis in addition to the normal ability
score modifiers.
Order of the Bloody Rose:
The Bloody Rose is trained to be the fastest. +2 Dex in addition to the normal
ability score modifiers.
