RANGED WEAPONS
Despite the increasing popularity
of melee weapons for close quarter combat; most heroes still choose to put
their faith in firearm. With a slight pull of a trigger lives can be ended. Firearms
are mass produced in forgeworlds across the galaxy. The sledgehammer that is
the Imperial Guard purchases hundreds of trillions of laser guns, assault
rifles and sidearms. The police forces of the Adeptus Arbiters prefer the
subduing capacities of shotguns and for killing blows the deadly accuracy of
the executioner shotgun. The Space Marines and the Sisters of Battle carry
instead potent bolt weapons that fire mini-rockets that detonate once they
penetrate the epidermis of their intended targets. Projectile firearms may be
‘in their last days’ as the laspistol slowly replaces the so-dubbed stubpistols
of the past age but they are still very popular. Whether a you carry a trendy
laser pistol or an old fashioned autogun this section is devoted to giving your
character the perfect firearm for his taste.
