BOUNTY HUNTER
This
section describes the Bounty Hunter advanced class. The fastest way to get to
this class is through the Tough Hero basic class. The bounty hunter is the
class that always gets her man, alien or daemon. She hunts down rogue mutants,
heretics and xenogens for the adeptus arbiters, for the the Inquisition or
perhaps for purely intrinsic reasons. Or worse, she serves a dark power and
hunts down Inquisitors. Regardless she is a great tracker and deadly over long
distances.

CLASS
FEATURES
The
following features pertain to the Bodyguard advanced class.
Swift Tracker
At third
level a bounty hunter can move at his normal speed when tracking a foe without taking
the normal -5 penalty. He takes only a -10 when (instead of the normal -20)
when moving up to twice his normal speed while tracking.
Favoured Enemy
At first
level and every three levels after that the Bounty Hunter selects a Favoured Enemy.
The Bounty Hunter gets a +2 bonus on Bluff, Listen, Sense Motive, Spot and
Survival checks against his favoured enemies. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on
weapon damage rolls against these enemies. There can be overlap in some cases
for instance a cy-boar is of the animal type (hence it falls under animal) but
has been ‘mekked’ by ork mekaniaks and is therefore also cybernetic. Against an
enemy that falls into categories the benefits for favoured enemies never stack,
they only apply once.
He may
select the following:

Since humans
are the most common foe a person that wishes to select humans must also select
the class of human. So if he hunts down preachers and priests of Imperial
doctrine then his enemy might be Human (Charismatic) or Human (Dedicated). A
multi-class foe can be considered a favoured enemy so long as he has a single
class as hated.
Evasion
Counts as
the Fast Hero Evasion Talent, if the character already has this talent from
another class then this counts as Improved Evasion (pg 171, d20 Modern
Handbook.)
Camouflage
A bounty
hunter of 8th or higher level can use the Hide skill even when there
is nothing to hide behind (presuming that no one is looking straight at him).
He can hide in either any urban environment or in any natural environment (he
must pick once and never change).
Bonus Feats
Whenever a
Bounty Hunter gains a class feat he can select one of the following:
Animal
Affinity, Advanced Melee Weapons Proficiency, Athletic, Attentive, Guide,
Improved Initiative, Shot on the Run, Run
