Skrik started bringing darkness in 2006, when it evolved from a school punk band called Clever 3. Pieter (drums), Wander (guitar) and Cadee (bass) found a second guitar player in Tsjuster (guitar, also in Krocht, Kjeld). With Tsjuster, their style was found, consisting of death metal with a touch from the black and thrash side of the metal spectrum. After the joining of frontman Gerard (vocals, also in Jarretank), Skrik's main theme became Frisian history and mythology.
Deep vocals, fast guitar and bass riffing, blast beats and very fast double bass drumming are the elements that can be heard on our upcoming record which may be expected this summer.
