My grandfather's maternal great grandfather, also HANS ANDERSEN, was born in Gjer pen about 1761 but I have not been able to find his birth record. His son, OLE HANSEN used the farm name PUTTEN but he was born in Brevik. HANS ANDERSEN has also been connected with the farm name KIØGES or KIELLES (are these misspellings of Kleven?) and is listed in the 1874 Census of BRATSBURG KLEVEN in Gjerpen. |
