September 4

This is it. I'm here. At long last I ahve arrived at the University of Waterloo.

The first night was a little rough, but I survived and I'm content with where I am. The bed is a little hard, and the room a little small but, I'm sure I'll learn to adjust...or just bitch and complain about it.

So, move in day for me was yesterday but, there are still some people moving in now. In total there is about 60 people in my house, which seems like a lot of people even though it is only a small portion of the students, even first years, here at the University of Waterloo.

Move in was very hectic. People were everywhere. Cars were everywhere. It was a sea of motion. I wasn't as nervous or excited as I thought that I would be, it's too bad that I can't say the same for my mom and my little sister. After everything was unpacked in my room my mom, dad, sister and I went to Eastside Mario's for some lunch. during lunch Becky, my little sister, started to cry and she insisted that I go home with them. After many hugs and smiles she stopped and ate her pizza happily. She's so cute and I love her to bits, I always will, but for now there's some distance between us. My mother was much the same way as I walked them to our truck so that they could go home, only that she refrained from crying, which was good because I know that if she had started crying that I would've certainly followed.

There seems to be a lot going on this week and it all starts tonight. There's a hypnotist tonight, a Moist concert on campus on Tuesday, a Monte Carlo night on Thursday and the football game on saturday. A toga Party fits in there somewhere too, but I'm not exactly sure where, not to mention all the faculty activities that I'm supposed to particiapte in. Wheeee....
