In Bridgewater Township, Somerset Co., is listed the name of James Brooks; it is probable that David resided in Middlebrook area of Bridgewater Township. In census-like fashion, it appears to be taken in household order and nearby are listed the names of John Covert Jr. and John Covert Sr.; also Luke Covert. Petition for Probate is filed in Seneca County NY. Both are buried Gospel Lot Cemetery, Ovid NY.�
