Revenue by Product
The main reason for revenue increases during the year was an increase in collections. Paper collections were low last year, but paper brought in the most revenue and profit for the company this year. Also costs for processing paper declined because of new equipment purchased last year.

Revenue by Analysis
The four main waste materials that our company processes. The revenue increases indicate that cities are building their recycling programs beyond just collecting glass and paper. Revenue form metal and plastic have increased as their programs have gained volume. However, there still is price pressure as the supply of recyclable materials continues to exceed demand. Much needs to be done to find new ways to use these materials. This will increase demand and prices and provide an incentive for cities to recycle evem more types of materials.
