| Quatre Raberba Winner has one of the most intriguing personalities on the show. He is very kind and gentle yet his is ruthless in his Gundam. He always asks people to surrender before he kills them. That's not something your normal everyday terrorist does. I think it's strange how he can go into battle being the kind and loving person he is. We all saw the obvious pain when Quatre witnessed his father's ship blow up, but what really caused him to snap? Quatre Raberba Winner was born into a wealthy family on the colony of L4. His mother died during his birth, and to protect Quatre, his father always told him he was a test tube baby, which led to even more problems later on. Quatre problem with himself, an inferiority complex if you want to call it, and this has made him lead a very confused life. He feels like no one wants him, and his life is worthless. That's why he fights. He has no fear of dying, because he feels like he is not wanted anyway. This is clearly untrue throughout the series. The Magunacs call him "Master Quatre" or "Quatre~sama," and he makes numerous friends and acquaintances along the way. In his episode Zero, he meets the Maguanacs for the first time when their shuttle is hijacked by them. At this point in his life (he is 13), he is a very spoiled and selfish child. He does not care about himself or anyone else around him. As the episode progresses, Rashid talks to Quatre, and tells him that all of the Maguanacs are test tube babies also. A while later, Quatre takes a bullet for Rashid in the shoulder. Then, the Maguanacs leave in their Mobile suits to attack the people who are attacking them. Rashid throws Quatre his goggles (so THAT'S where they came from!) and Quatre goes to help the Maguanacs. I think you get the point. It's a pretty good episode Zero, so I'll have to find the Japanese one for you. ^_^. Until then, I hope this opened up a little bit of his past for you! | ||||||||||
