| Duo was most likely born in the colonies. He appeared on the V08744 at L2 at the age 7. There was a lot of fighting going on at the time which left many children orphaned. Duo, being a nameless orphan himself, got taken in by a boy named Solo who was a leader of a group of orphans. When Solo was dying of a virus which was going around the colonies he told Duo that he would allways be with him. So Duo thought if Solo was with him he'd be Duo (hence the name). After Solo died Duo took over and lead the orphan group. Later on the group was taken in by The Maxwell church. They fed and cloths them and one of the Sisters (Helen) attempted to cut Duo's long hair but he refused so she braid it to make it look neater. In school Duo was the top of his classes but got in fights a lot since he was sent to a Federation run school and that had mostly children of military personnel. Duo was never adopted out because he was a trouble maker but the rest of the group did. His only family was Father Maxwell and Sister Helen of the Maxwell church. When the colony turned into a battle field once again the church was used for a makeshift hospital for the wounded for the resistance fighters that had made it their baseline of the resistance leaders decided that they needed an MS mobile suit. This is where the trouble starts. Father Maxwell rejects and gets injured and Duo is caused for being a spy. So duo swears he'll steal a MS which is what he did. When he returns from doing so he finds the church destroyed and Sister Helen Dyng. The Federation forces had attacked. Sister Helen told him that Father Maxwell was gone even though Duo was upset he kept smiling for her and tried to get a doctor but she wouldn't let him. Duo cried for the first time because of death when she died. Duo disappeared and didn't resurface for several years later after this. Somewhere in there Duo meat up with Dr.G. There must of been something he liked about Duo because he gave Duo Deathscythe. Duo was not happy when he found out the purpose of the Gundam. He attempted to blow Deathscythe up. Doctor G caught him and disarmed the bombs before Duo attempted to detonate them. He then confronted Duo and told him to steal Deathscythe and go to Earth to fulfill the mission as Duo saw it. Duo is the happier one in the gruop. He bottles alot of his feelings inside. I once heard someone say that Duo was a perfect name becouse in one hand he holds the fate of humanity and in the other he holds the rest of his atolasents. He's one in a million to be able to be through all he's been tough and still end the day with a smile. | |||||||||||
