| Name: Kira Anne Dawson Gilmore Goes by: Kira Age: 14 DOB: 1/1/91 Birth Place: Brooklyn, NYC Whats with the long middle name?: Dawson is her parents last name, she wanted to keep it and she asked Lorelai, after the adoption, what she would like to name her. Lorelai said Anne so that became a part of her middle name History: She was raised by a family that had a lot of problems. Her mother and father, although good people, usually fought when young Kira was around. Her parents were in a major car crash that killed both of them plus Kira's only brother. Fortuntally Kira was at her grandmothers house when that happend, she was only 4. From that her grandmother let her stay at her house for a while till she could not look at Kira without feeling pain so she gave Kira to the orphanage, Kira was 5. Her mentally unstable grandfather would visit her till he died when Kira was 9. From that age Kira was pretty much on her own. From the somewhat disturbed little girl she became pretty laid back although she would get aggresive if someone would get in her way of what she wanted. She met Rory when she was 13, because of Rory's caring/loving personality won over friendship from Kira. Once Rory found out what her situation was she begged her mother to let them foster her. Although a bit reluctant Lorelai finally agreed. Turned out that all cared for eachother and finally they adopted Kira. Personality: Thanks to being a Gilmore Girl, Kira is whitty, although not as whitty as Lorelai or Rory. She really can't stand it when Lorelai/Rory fight or when Lorelai/Emily fight because itreminds her of her childhood. She'll go wait in her room or stay in the jeep till the fight is over. She is very protective of Rory and Lorelai, she will go after anyone who hurts them. Shes learning that is she gets hurt it hurts her favorite people. Celeberty crushes: Orlando Bloom, Johnny Deep, all the guys from BBMAK, Chris Tomlin, Patrick Stewart and Christopher K. Lee (he played on Power Rangers In Space).
