“What!?”
Julia screamed as she fell out of the chair unto the floor. Christie just looked
at her shocked and further more not uttering a sound.
“I’m moving out.”
Xiaoyu sighed as she walked over to the closet pulling out some of the old boxes
she would use to pack her stuff as well as the suitcases.
“Why?” Julia
screamed as she walked over to Xiaoyu. Christie still sat there. “You can’t
leave us.” Julia started as she climbed across the counter trying to reach
Xiaoyu.
“Look this is more to help you then for my own benefit.” Xiaoyu
smiled as she pet Julia on the head.
“How can this be for my own
benefit?” Julia screamed.
“Because.” Xiaoyu started as she sat on one of
the stools. “Jin and I have come to the conclusion that the four of you, Steve,
yourself, Hwo and Chris., to live together.”
Julia blinked.
“Why,
you ask?” Xiaoyu giggled as she flipped her hair to one side. “Well the answer
is simple. You see I think that it would be best if well, the four of you lived
together to put on this little show for the marriage counselor. Not to mention
the fact that Jin and I have never really lived together so we want a for sure
what we will be dealing with; you know get our issues out there.”
“Ok one
well, umm, you and Jin have lived in the same house for a few
years.”
“But there is only one small issue with what you have said, let
me correct you. I mean us living by ourselves.”
“So you two want an
excuse to jump each other’s bones without the possibility of any of us
interrupting because of our problems, right?” Christie asked, finally coming out
of her horrific trance.
Xiaoyu stood looking at her in shock, merely
staring her jaw left slacked open.
“You know since she is not saying
anything then I take it that means we are telling the truth.” Julia
snickered.
“Xiao’s gotta dirty mind!” Christie sang as she skipped around
Xiaoyu. Xiaoyu finally sick of the taunting stuck her foot out, making Christie
trip over her foot. Christie’s face was met with the hard wood floor.
“I
think she told you.” Julia chuckled as she looked down at her fallen
friend.
“The whole point of this is so that the counselor thinks that you
all at least making an effort and also for me and Jin to get used to this new
life style so to say.” Xiaoyu explained.
“Whatever.” Christie sighed as
she picked herself from off of the ground then proceeding to dust herself off;
all the while she glared at Xiaoyu.
Two Days Later...
“Will you
stop!?” Xiaoyu whined as she looked at Christie and Julia feigning tears. Today
was the day that Steve and Hwoarang would trade places with Xiaoyu.
“We
can’t help it!” Julia sighed. “I mean in a way we are sad, I mean your all going
off.”
“Getting married.” Christie added as she wiped her
nose.
“Well you all are already married.”
They glared at
Xiaoyu.
“Hey I was just pointing out the facts here; there was no hint of
me teasing!” Xiaoyu spoke as she picked up her last suitcase. “Well this is
it.”
“Bye.” Christie shrieked as she threw her arms around
Xiaoyu.
“Chris.” Julia spoke as she cleared her throat.
“Yea,
Jules?” Christie asked softly as she was still hugging Xiaoyu.
“She is
only going to the building across the path.”
A pause then a nervous
laugh. “I knew that.”
“I bet you did.”
“Bite me.”
“Isn’t
that your husband’s job?”
“Wasn’t that your boyfriend?”
“So you’re
taking it there?
“Oh, believe me! I am not taking it there I am already
there and waiting for your slow
ass.”
“Bitch.”
“Bitch?”
“Takes one to know
one.”
“Real mature, bitch.”
“I’m leaving!” Xiaoyu shouted as she
walked between the two bickering girls. She shut the door to shield the rest of
the natural world from the wrath of their collided anger. She walked across the
path as Hwoarang and Steve walked by her.
“Any advise you could offer
us?” Hwoarang asked as he looked in Xiaoyu’s direction.
“Just keep them
separated and everything will be alright.”
“We’re going to die aren’t
we?” Steve asked as he looked at Xiaoyu for the truth..
“It is possible.”
Xiaoyu answered as she stepped into the new home that she would be sharing with
Jin. She smiled as she walked into the apartment.
“Guess what?” Jin
smiled as he walked over to her.
“What?” Xiaoyu asked, curious about what
tricks were up his sleeve.
“I enrolled us in marriage
counseling.”
“WHAT?!”
